CFA Board Meeting

        Breeds and Standards Discussion

        February 1st and 2nd, 2003

        Houston, TX

Here is how to listen to the live Board of Directors meeting.

        1. Check Windows Media Player version.

Check to make sure that you have Version 6.4 or higher of Windows Media Player installed.

Check Start/Programs/Accessories/Entertainment/Windows Media Player in Win98. This path may vary in Win95, Windows 2000, or Windows XP. If you can't find Windows Media Player, go on to step 2. After you find and start Windows Media Player, click on Help/About Windows Media Player. The first digits in the version number should be 6.4 or higher. If they are not, proceed to step 2. If they are 6.4 or higher, then skip step 2 and go on to step 3.

        2. Download Windows Media Player and install

        3. Test your connection

Start Windows Media Player. Click to test your audio connection

You should hear (after a short delay) an audio clip from "The Matrix".

        4. Connect to the meeting audio stream

If you have everything installed correctly, you should be able to click on the Saturday's CFA Board discussion and hear this file. Then listen to the file for Sunday's Board discussion . These links will only work during the actual board meeting itself. Stay tuned for updates on the estimated time discussions are expected to begin. Scheduled start times are 4:00PM CST Saturday and 9:00AM CST Sunday.
